This is my entry into the "Mama Scared Stiff Contest".
I know that it's incredibly simplistic compared to the other things that I've done but the reason for it is because of what I saw in the preview with children and horror. Thinking about these two things I wanted to revert back to a state of childhood where the fears were simply and so was the art. I know that may sound like I'm covering my ass for doing "bad art" but it seems to fit.
In this one, it's a combination of two things: Heights and the dark. Heights is frightening because you have a pretty good idea of what happens when you come in contact with the ground. In the case of the dark, I think the reason why, as children, that we're afraid of it is because we can't see what's in there. And that is one of the greatest of fears in our lives: fear of the unknown.
