But he did such a wonderful job on it that he used it for a shuttlecraft type in his ship designs - Epsilon Class - which I can't say I blame him it is a nicely done ship.
I asked him to design something for me for a forum that I roleplay at (Clash of the Titans).
Originally I wanted to call this ship the "Ragnorok" but then I decided to change it's name to "Event Horizon" for several reasons. So far I've come up with these specs for it:
Event Horizon
Type: Fighter Shuttlecraft
Commissioned: Month 3, Day 12, Year of the Rat (Avataran Calendar)
Armaments: 2x laser cannons (Output 1,500 Terra Watts) 4x Missile Launchers with 20 Rounds
Defense System: Matrix Type Shielding (Capacity 200,000 Terra Joules) Medium Ablative Armor Low Level Structure Integrity Field
Propulsion: Fold Space Drive (FSD): Power: Matter/Anti-Matter Warp Core (Tridium fueled) Notes: The fold space drive is a type of drive in which the ship artificially folds space and time around it so that point A and point B exist side-by-side and thus allows the ship to instantaneously jump from one point to another. However, because making jumps uses so much energy, the ship can only go a maximum distance of 1,000 light years before needing approximately 24 hours for the engines to recharge. Anything less than that it would take less time to recharge.
Impulse: Power: Fusion Engines: 2 Impulse Engines with multiple thrusters in the skin of the ship for higher maneuverability.
Escape Pod: 1
Transporters: 1 Standard 1 Emergency
Refit Cycle: Minor: 0 Standard: 0 Major: 5 years
Extra Notes: Unlike most ships that are painted a battleship gray color the Event Horizon has a Hot Rod Red color to its hull.
Well, originally when I called it the Ragnorok - I had this notion of painting the hull a "Hot rod red" as I said in my notes - unfortunately a lot of people thought that it was too much like the ship from "Final Fantasy 8". So I changed it to the name of another ship I liked from the film "Event Horizon" which is about a ship that has an engine that can fold space around it.
reminds me of the film too
